Motion made, seconded, and passed: to accept the Treasurer’s reports as posted on the www.greysheetmeetings.org website.
Motion made, seconded, and passed: to accept the minutes from the previous IG Meeting as posted.
Motion made, seconded, and passed: that the Phone Bridge Marathons would be adjusted to conform to our meeting schedule (e.g., begin at 5:30am and end at 10pm).
After the motion passed the GSRs and Trustees unanimously agreed that this would be brought to the groups before it is implemented.
DISCUSSION FOR THE GROUPS: The Phone Bridge GSRs and Trustees passed a motion to adjust our Marathon beginning and ending times to conform with our current schedule. The rationale is that it is a more accurate reflection of when we have enough trusted servants to give cover the meetings. Extending the end time to 2am has been a hardship on a small number of volunteers. We wanted to inform the groups about this change before implementing it for the July 4th Marathon. After discussion, if this group has any questions, please contact the Trustees at PhoneBridgeTrustees@greysheetmeetings.org.
Motion made, seconded, and passed: to hold our next Intergroup Meeting at 3pm to accommodate a European GSR. Our next meeting will be July 12, 2020 at 3pm on the Intergroup pin.
Old Business tabled:
- Amending the 7th Tradition announcement section of the formats to provide more information about how we use our funds and how to contribute (present 1 month ahead of time to groups to discuss).
- Motion from the Phone Bridge Intergroup to the WSC of using video conferencing for our WSC.
- Talking about adding a page to our website on the history of the phone bridge intergroup.
- Announcing the GS Daily Reflections workshops.
Brief Announcement: the 2020 WSC is postponed to 2021 primarily for financial reasons.
If you have additional new business please e-mail us at phonebridgetrustees@greysheetmeetings.org with any new items you would like to discuss at the IG level. Only items that affect the phone bridge are discussed at the IG level.
Meeting closed at 6:00pm, with the Responsibility Pledge & the “We” version of the Serenity Prayer.
