Motion made, seconded, and passed to accept the minutes from the previous IG Meeting as posted on the website.
Old Business:
- Weekly Friday morning meetings have started. The purpose is to inform any interested member about the WSC motions. No one was able to figure out how to record the meetings and post them. The following motion was made t address the question:
Motion made, seconded, and passed to post the notes from the 6:30-7:30am Friday meeting on the website for those unable to attend.
- There was a lengthy discussion about financially supporting two ISRs. The issue was tabled until more information as gathered.
- In order to understand the Phone Bridge Group Conscience that the Intergroup Service Representative would bring to the WSC we are suggesting that once our groups have discussed and voted on WSC Motions, we would hold a special Intergroup meeting in August, prior to the WSC in which all Phone Bridge meetings could send a representative to share their group’s votes on the specific motions. The results of that vote would be considered the Phone Bridge Intergroup’s Group Conscience for the ISR to take to the WSC.
If you have additional new business please e-mail us at phonebridgetrustees@greysheetmeetings.org with any new items you would like to discuss at the IG level. Only items that affect the phone bridge are discussed at the IG level.
The meeting closed at 6:15pm with the Responsibility Pledge & the “We” version of the Serenity Prayer.
“I am responsible…when anyone, anywhere, reaches out for help I want the hand of GSA always to be there. And for that – I am responsible.”
