Kris W. opened the meeting with the  Serenity Prayer and a reading of the 12 Traditions.

Old Business:

This extra Phone Bridge Inter Group meeting was called to elect 2 officers that were unable to be elected at the March IG meeting.

Election of the Dashboard Liaison – Wanda S.    

Shaaron made a motion to nominate Wanda as our new Dashboard Liaison. Jessica seconded the motion. Wanda was elected by a unanimous vote.

Election of our ISR – Marcia M.

Joyce made a motion to elect Marcia as our new Intergroup Service Representative. Shaaron seconded the motion. Marcia was elected by a unanimous vote. She was voted in in absentia due to technical difficulties.

Discussion: Joyce asked what are the duties of the fairly new position of Dashboard Liaison. Wanda explained that she enlists and trains people to be monitors of our Phone Bridge meetings. The monitors work with the moderators to keep our Phone Bridge meetings a safe place for our recovery. Wanda asked what the ISR position entails. It was explained the ISR is our GSRs’ (who represent our meetings) conduit with GSAWS and vice versa.

Announcements:

GSRs are urgently needed. Your PB Intergroup and our GSA World Services want to hear our meetings’ voices. We also need to fill the Co-Chair and Website Liaison positions.                                                                                          

If you have additional new business, please e-mail us at phonebridgetrustees@greysheetmeetings.org 2 weeks PRIOR to the IG meeting with any new items you would like to discuss. Only items that affect the Phone Bridge are discussed at the Intergroup level.

The next Intergroup meeting is scheduled for Sunday, May 12, 2024 at 3:00 PM.
