Motion for December business meetings:
BACKGROUND: All registrations for attendance at the WSC in September 2019 are due by February 15, 2019. The phone bridge has a small savings (around $800) for WSC representation. All GSRs and ISRs are welcome to attend. We would like to recommend that the phone bridge participate at both the ISR (Intergroup Service Representative) and GSR (Group Service Representative) level, since we have an active and functional intergroup. In the past we have supported GSRs equally with whatever funds were deemed available at the time (most recently we support 6 GSRs for $100 each). We did not have ISRs at the time. Below is how we would like to suggest the groups consider participating for the 2019 WSC:
MOTION: The GSA Phone Bridge will use any funds collected for attendance at the WSC as follows:
1. Send two ISRs (to be selected by the groups from among the GSA Phone Bridge Trustees – as Intergroup officers)
2. Disburse the remaining funds equally between any elected GSRs who will attend to represent their groups
The motion will be considered at the January 13, 2019 Intergroup meeting.
